After a successful day in Melbourne Victoria, Pitch@Palace Australia continued today in the Gold Coast, Queensland. Bond University’s stunning campus played host to the second On Tour event on 22 September, 2017.
The Duke of York was able to meet architecture students at the Abedian School of Architecture. HRH visited Bond University’s recently opened Transformer centre for Entrepreneurs where he was able to meet the Pitch@Palace Entrepreneurs as well as students.
The Duke of York then presented Bronze iDEA Certificates to students from Emanuel College.
Later, 17 Entrepreneurs Pitched in front of an Audience of 400 guests in the Basil Sellers Theatre hosted by the Chancellor The Hon Dr Annabelle Bennett and Vice Chancellor Tim Braillsford.
The Pitches showcased the huge variety and strength of Entrepreneurial talent that Queensland has to offer covering sectors from healthcare to agriculture and logistics. 8 start-ups were selected to attend Pitch@Palace Boot Camp at the University of Wollongong. These Entrepreneurs are:
